Two-Car Garage

A standard two-car garage is typically at least 20 feet x 20 feet, giving you 400 square feet of space. Use this as a guide. Do your belongings take up half of your garage? Then you will need a 10 x 20 storage unit. If they take up the entire garage, rent a 20 x 20.

Allow extra space for an aisle on the larger units, so you can easily reach items in the back later on. And, remember, you can always change to a different size unit as your needs change.
